Prompted by the consumption and representation of women in pornography; this piece explores the ownership of the female image and how problematic social dynamics represented are given more taboo than similar social issues that exist outside of pornography. The question then becomes: How are we able to criticize pornography for perpetuating structures that exist otherwise? The video distorts and overlays clips from PornHub with exaggerated colors. The audio for the piece is meant to create an eerie ambience while the video creates a sense of wonder with flashing colors meant to entice the viewer before the moment they realize what they are looking at.
